US President Donald Trump said Friday that he would step down and hand over power to President-elect Joe Biden, should the electoral college vote for the latter.

Trump added in a press release: “I don’t want to talk about the 2024 elections, as the current elections are not over and there are thousands of votes that can change the outcome.”

He continued: “The voting devices were riddled with problems and the votes in more than one place were transferred to Biden, as if we were in a third world country.”

Trump added: “The elections are far from over and we must not get frustrated and time is on our side, Biden did not get 80 million votes, the numbers are false and the elections are falsified.”

Earlier, Trump asked his supporters to work to reverse the outcome of the US presidential election, claiming they had been “rigged” to secure Biden’s victory.

Since the November 3 election, Trump has repeatedly said, without providing any evidence, that the election was marred by widespread fraud, and he refuses to acknowledge his defeat at the national level against Biden.

The lawyer for the president of the United States, Rudy Giuliani, confirmed the fraud in several states, indicating that the Democrats relied on a systematic plan to manipulate the results of the elections in the main cities.

Giuliani said: “There was a systematic plan to carry out violations and fraud during the presidential elections, especially in major cities run by Democrats and historically known for corruption cases such as Philadelphia, which has been known for fraud for the last 60 years.” .

“This also applies to the city of Detroit. It is a city controlled by the Democrats, which allows them to do whatever they want to even break the law.”
