Ahmed Abdel Raouf and Ayman Abdel Aziz as Zamalek coach
Ayman Abdel Aziz, the former Zamalek coach, who was a candidate to be with the coaching staff at the Al-Ahly meeting, announced that he had been infected with the Corona virus, in exclusive statements to FilGoal.com.
Said Abdul Aziz: “As a result of the medical smear that they did during it on Monday, it came back positive, while I had a chest X-ray and blood tests in a laboratory showed that I am not suffering from anything.”
And he continued: “I will undergo a new swab in the next few hours, to make sure of the definitive infection.”
He continued: “Mostly because I don’t suffer any symptoms, I also had a chest X-ray and full blood tests showed there was nothing.”
FilGoal.com had previously learned that Abdulaziz is a candidate to be with the technical staff at the summit meeting against Al-Ahly due to the infection of general coach Medhat Abdel-Hadi with the Corona virus.
Abdel Aziz underwent a medical examination with the Zamalek players on Monday.
Zamalek will face Al-Ahly next Friday at Cairo Stadium in the final of the African Champions League.
Ayman Abdel Aziz was previously on the Zamalek coaching staff under the leadership of Serbian coach Micho.
