The Tax Authority announced its need to hire 1,700 tax officers (fiscal inspection officer – fiscal inventory officer) at the level of the governorates of the Republic, with Announcement No. 1 of 2020.
The tax authority said, in a statement on Sunday, that to apply in this announcement the following conditions must be that the applicant possesses Egyptian nationality, is medically fit, is a permanent resident of the governorate to which he is applying, and that he is confirm you as residence with the DNI on the date This announcement.
He added that the applicant is required to have a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Division) with at least a very good overall qualification, and that the applicant’s age must not exceed 27 years as of the date of this announcement, in accordance with the provisions in article fifteen of Law No. (85) of 2020, and without prejudice to the provisions of article (14) of the Civil Service Law promulgated by Law No. (81) of 2016.
The authority clarified that the documents required to apply include compliance with the job application data available on the official website of the Ministry of Finance, for those who meet the application conditions only, uploading a copy of the academic title obtained by the applicant, and also uploading a copy of the computerized birth certificate.
The documents also include uploading a copy of the national identification card, to be valid as of the date of this announcement, and uploading a copy of a certificate indicating the mandatory military service post to perform military service on the site, to male applicants, and upload a copy of the criminal status sheet, provided it is a recent one issued in the name of the Ministry of Finance, and finally upload a personal photo of the applicant on the website.
The authority indicated that in order to be nominated for hiring, applicants who meet the requirements for submitting the evaluation tests, which will be carried out electronically, must pass the evaluation tests, which will be carried out electronically, at least 75% in the fields of (general accounting, with a focus on tax accounting – tax law – computing – basic personal skills – English language).
He indicated that a personal interview will be held with applicants who have passed the electronic examinations only, and the originals of previous documents, and other legally prescribed documents, in addition to a medical examination, will also be requested for the applicants nominated for hiring.

The test also includes a series of questions covering computer skills and basics / basic principles to deal with each of the Internet applications: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
It also includes questions about general information, logical thinking ability, basic skills (time management / negotiation / meeting management), basic management information (management / control / strategic planning functions), as well as skills to use the vocabulary of the English language to deal with others in an environment.
