Samson Adamu, chairman of the Club Competitions Committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF), revealed that the final decision on the attendance of the masses to the final of the African Champions League between Zamalek and Al-Ahly will be on Wednesday.
Adamo said in his remarks during a press conference attended by Yalla Koura on Sunday: “We had a meeting today with the authorities and the matter was discussed, and on Wednesday we will have a final decision on this matter.”
He continued: “Of course for us the establishment of the final of the African Champions League in Egypt and the presence of Al-Ahly and Zamalek in this event makes us hope that there will be a public presence, but it is related to the position of the authorities of health and safety, the number that can be allowed to enter, and also if the procedures will be respected safely. ” Otherwise, unfortunately, there will be no fans. “
He added: “We hope to play the game in the presence of the fans, but in the end it is appreciated by the health and security authorities.”
