A security source denied what was circulated on one of the pages loyal to the terrorist Brotherhood on the social network Facebook about the denunciation of the spread of the Corona virus among inmates.
The source said: “What was circulated in this regard is completely false and no cases were detected.”
The source added: “On 03/10/2020, the visit to all penitentiary centers and lynxes belonging to the penitentiary sector was suspended, in the interest of the general health of the inmates and in accordance with the Penitentiary Organization Law, and on April 22 08/2020 the visits were resumed with all the preventive, precautionary and sanitary measures taken ”.
He continued: “This comes as part of the terrorist group’s media trumpet attempts to spread lies to incite public opinion, in an attempt to ease security control over elements of the terrorist group inside prisons.”
The source indicated that the penitentiary sector is interested in providing medical care to all inmates and observing all preventive measures within prisons.
