Dutch journalist “Daniel Verlán” managed to join a closed-door meeting at Zoom and broke in through the video link of the European Union defense ministers.

The journalist joined the meeting after the Dutch Defense Minister accidentally published some of the details of the entry on Twitter, as published by the “BBC”.

The journalist “Daniel Verlan” of the Dutch RTL News, a specialist in technology, was waving his hands happy with his surprised face.

He spoke with the journalist, the European Union’s foreign policy coordinator, Josep Borrell, and he said: “You know you jumped into a secret conference, right?”

Verlan replied, “Yes, yes, sorry.” I am a journalist from Holland. Sorry to interrupt your lecture. I will go “.

In between, officials laughed at the meeting.

“You know what you’ve done is a crime, right?” Borrell replied, adding, “You better get out quickly before the police arrive.”

Later, a spokesman for the Dutch Defense Ministry said that the tweet published by the Dutch defense minister, with the login details, was a “stupid mistake”.

“This shows the degree of care that must be taken when sending a photo for a meeting,” he added.

The journalist was able to enter the secret meeting after Dutch Defense Minister Ann Bielefeld posted on her Twitter page an image containing the entry address and part of the access code, and after several attempts, RTL News managed to guess the entry code for the secret consultative meeting, because five of the six digits (which make up the code) were visible in the image, ”according to the station.
