Books – Ahmad Jumaa:
The General Health Insurance Authority of the Ministry of Health decided to modify the rates for obtaining its services, starting next December.
In accordance with the decision bearing the number “857 of 2020” and obtained by Masrawy, the decision divided the new rates into several categories, to which are added the rates for services in clinics, where the rate is obtained at the request of the beneficiary to sign a medical examination in accordance with the following:
– Labor (employees, pensions and widows) according to Law 79 of 75, one pound is charged per stamp.
– School students, in accordance with Law 99 of 1992, one pound per stamp is charged.
– The female supplier, according to Law 23 of 2020, is charged one pound per stamp.
For preschool children, according to Law 86 of 2012, fees range from one pound for a discussion before a practicing doctor, three pounds for a specialist and five pounds for a consultant.
Regarding medical research fees, a service fee of 10% of the total value of medical analysis or radiology for school children and newborns (for cases inside and outside the authority), with a maximum of 20 pounds, according to the authority’s services price list.
Regarding hospitalization rates, an amount of 5 pounds is collected for each day of stay of schoolchildren and newborns in the hospitals of the Authority, with a maximum of 10 days, and an amount of one pound is collected for each day of stay of Law 79 (employees, pensions and widows) for a maximum of 10 days. Charge according to the type of operation: minor operations, 3-day insurance, intermediate operations, 5-day insurance, other operations, 10-day insurance.
With regard to nurseries, an amount of 20 pounds is collected for each day of stay in exchange for the use of the nursery for the newborn within the authority units and when issuing the transfer letter to the contracting parties, always that the term is specified in the letter of transfer. .
