Is there a crisis between Club Egypt and the Football Association before the Zamalek game tomorrow Saturday, in the quarterfinals of the Egypt Cup, over the list of the game that the team will play in the match against the white team?

Mohamed Abu El-Ela, Egypt Club’s general coach, responded to FilGoal.com: “What is being promoted about the Football Association’s refusal to play the match with the new roster is not correct.

He continued: “The second division will start next Wednesday and the Football Association considered our list in the Zamalek match, which is for the new season.”

He added: “What happened is certainly not an exception for us, but a well-known matter. In the Egyptian Cup, you can play with the new roster after the restriction period has been extended.”

Abu Al-Ela emphasized: “Now we are on our way to Suez to spend the night there and meet Zamalek.”

The Football Association had previously announced that the local registration period would be extended to November 30 instead of November 19, after also postponing the final of the African Champions League to November 27.

Consequently, the first registration period ends on November 30 and the second on December 6. (See details)

This is the response of the Egyptian Club official, what about the suspension of the Football Association?

FilGoal.com went to ask Walid Al-Attar, Executive Director of the Football Association, about the fact that there was a crisis with Masr before the Zamalek meeting.

Al-Attar responded decisively: “We previously announced the modification of the registration dates, as the first list ends on November 30 and the second in December, so any team that has registered new players on its first list is entitled to participate in the matches of the Egyptian Cup. “

He stressed that “the Masr Club has registered its first list with us naturally because the second division will start on the 24th of this month, so it is natural that tomorrow it will play the game with its new players.”

And he completed: “The match will be played by Club Egypt against Zamalek in its old name, naturally, and so far we have not received a request to change its name.”

And Walid Al-Attar had previously revealed in his “Ontime Sports” speech that even if he requested to change his name, he would not be able to complete the procedures before meeting Zamalek.

And on whether Masr Club intends to change its name before facing Zamalek in the Egypt Cup quarterfinals, Al-Attar replied at the time: “He will not play the match under his current name.”

He continued: “Even if your name is changed, you will not be able to complete the matter before the meeting, because these procedures take a long time.” (See details)

In the same context, the company “Z” announced its intention to hold a press conference next Monday to officially reveal its acquisition of Club Egypt.
