Sayed Abdel Hafeez, football director of the Al-Ahly club, announced that his team had entered a closed field, starting next Sunday, to prepare for the final of the African Champions League competition.
Al-Ahly will face their rivals Zamalek next Friday at the “Cairo Stadium” in the final of the African Champions League.
Abdel Hafeez said in a statement on Al-Ahly’s official website that this decision came to provide precautionary and preventive measures to maintain the safety and concentration of the players before the summit match.
Abdel Hafeez added that the team will hold their training session on Sunday at the island’s Mukhtar Touch Stadium, and the team will head to their closed camp at a Cairo hotel to begin implementing the program set by technical staff.
And the Al-Ahly club announced that the two teams of the team, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba” and Saleh Jumaa, had been infected with the new Corona virus (Covid 19).
It should be noted that Al-Ahly will play tomorrow Saturday against Abu Qir Fertilizer Team at the “Burj Al Arab” stadium in Alexandria, in the quarterfinals of the Egyptian Cup.
