Experts from the General Meteorological Authority revealed weather details for the next 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Friday
Experts expect heavy rains to fall in the provinces of Matrouh, Alexandria, Rafah, Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, Dakahlia and Mansoura, and the intensity of the rains will be moderate in Halayeb and Shalateen in Cairo, and sometimes thunderstorms in some areas.
This rain is expected to spread to the governorates of Lower Egypt and Cairo, but in a mild to moderate way, and the rain is accompanied by winds, increasing the sensation of falling temperatures.
Saturday
The pleasant climate prevails in most regions, moderate in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt during the day, and the weather at night is cold everywhere and tends to cool in South Sinai.
Experts expect moderate to heavy rains in some areas of Lower Egypt: (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – Gharbia – East – Menoufia) at about 50%.
Medium to heavy rainfall in some areas of the northwest coast: (Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum – Rashid – Baltim) with a rate of approximately 70%.
And on the northeast coasts: (Damietta – Port Said – Arish – Rafah) by approximately 70%.
And light to moderate rainfall in some areas of the canal cities and the southern Red Sea mountain ranges: (Halayeb – Shalateen – Ras Banas) by about 40%.
In the morning there is a water slug over Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt. The winds are active off the northwestern coasts, the Gulf of Suez and the eastern coasts, causing the interruption of maritime navigation.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are in: Greater Cairo between 22-14, Lower Egypt between 22-14, northwest coasts between 21-17, northeast coasts and central Sinai between 23-18, and South Sinai and the Red Sea ranges between 25-20. North of Upper Egypt between 23-14, South of Upper Egypt between 25-15 ° C.
Sunday
Meteorologists announced that the weather will begin to improve as of next Sunday, in most of the country, with light rains on some northern coasts.
Experts advised citizens not to go outside during the wave of bad weather except when necessary, and it is preferable not to walk on the roads.
