Mohamed Abu El-Ela, the doctor for the Egyptian national team, spoke about how he dealt with the emergence of three cases of Coronavirus among the ranks of the pharaohs.

This in addition to revealing the reason why Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Al-Nani traveled to England despite the duo’s positive test for the Corona virus.

He explained the reason for Taher Mohamed Taher’s injury at the national team camp and whether the Al-Ahly player Mohamed Hani reached the final of the CAF Champions League.

Abu Al-Ela held an interview with the channel “On Time Sports” in which he reviewed these matters and all of the following on his lips:

Salah, Al Nani and Coca

Salah, Nini and Coca’s condition is stable, the first two are asymptomatic and Coca has mild symptoms.

We conducted two Salah surveys, which were positive, and we conducted two tests for nani, both of which were positive.

Coca stained at Cairo airport and tested positive.

The reason for traveling to Salah and Nani

There are two parts, one medical and one administrative, in Europe the sample should have become negative before the player participates in a match again.

But recently, after the sample turned negative, it is being lightning, and if it is audible, the player immediately returns to the stadium, and this made the player’s time away less and consequently Arsenal and Liverpool asked the players to come until their sample became negative to participate directly in the matches.

Salah and Al-Nani will travel in a fully equipped ambulance, accompanied by medical personnel.

We agreed with Olympiacos that Coca will travel after his sample turns negative, and every day there is communication between us about everything related to him, his condition and the treatment he is receiving.

Respond to the charge of negligence

I don’t know why some accuse us of negligence. What I’m saying is that what we did during the national team camp didn’t happen at any club in Egypt. We apply international standards because we are obligated and fearful for the players in addition to the requirements of FIFA, including the medical examination of all players.

We started with an open camp on November 3 and 24 hours before, we did swabs and blood tests on all the players and cardiac tests to see if any of them had a crown and it affected the heart, and all were negative except for two people in the body technician, the first one recovered and joined us, and the second one did not enter the camp with us from the beginning. .

We did six swabs over the 16 days, which is the length of the Egyptian national team camp, and this was their way of finding cases very early.

In the closed camp, samples were taken and each player was in their room, so we trained late on the first day that the swab results were late.

And when the pros joined us, we ran the same protocol anyway, the first swab was negative for everyone, the second swab two days before the first match, and this swab returned a positive sample for Salah.

If a positive sample turned up, we monitored the symptoms and examined the contacts, and there were no symptoms in anyone, even one of the physical therapists who had mixed with Salah was isolated and we did two swabs and two blood tests, and when we confirmed the results negatives and after three days of isolation, he joined us again.

We did a swab after Togo’s first meeting at the Cairo Stadium, so we don’t wait to get back to the hotel to catch the virus early.

Taher’s injury and Hani’s position in the African final

Taher was injured on the second day of training at the camp, and he immediately left and sonar beams. Hossam Al-Badri, the coach of the national team, argued with us and preferred to complete his treatment with us in the open field, and leave us at the end.

He suffers from a second degree strain on the frontal muscle, and Al-Ahly was informed directly and needs treatment 3 weeks from the time of injury and I think after a week he can go back to training.

As for Mohamed Hani, he played the first match against Togo and complained of an injury.

After that, we did a direct X-ray, and the chances of catching him in the second encounter were difficult because of the 72 hour difference between the two and a long travel period.

So, Al-Badri preferred to rest him and his injury is not one of the majors, which is a tear of the external knee ligament, which means that it is simple, and he can catch the final of the CAF Champions League.
