The Al-Azhar Center continued: The wisdom of allowing a Muslim to marry a woman from the People of the People of the People of the Book, although not otherwise allowed, can be summarized as follows:

(3) A Muslim is legally obliged to treat his wife, whether Muslim or Sheikh, well, and affection, mercy, and reassurance are desired in the Muslim’s family and the kibbutz.

(4) The obedience of a Muslim wife to her husband is obligatory for her, and if her marriage to a non-Muslim were allowed, her obedience would conflict with obedience to God, Glory to Him.

(5) A non-Muslim does not believe in Islam or its Prophet, and his Sharia does not oblige him to allow a Muslim woman to perform the rituals of his religion or respect its sanctities, which undoubtedly affects the affection between them and the performance of mutual rights.
