Al-Ahly will lose the services of their new player, Taher Mohamed Taher, for a full month due to an injury that took him out of the national team camp recently to the front muscle, according to an official source from the Al-Ahmar club.

The source said that Taher underwent new X-rays to verify his injury, which was accurately diagnosed again, and it was a stretch in the anterior muscle (1 cm).

He added that the injury Taher suffered would require the player to be treated for a full month.

On November 4, the Egyptian team announced the injury of Taher Mohamed Taher to the front muscle, as part of the preparations for the two matches in Togo in the African Nations Qualifiers, before being excluded from the list of the Pharaohs.

The 23-year-old performed an ultrasound in Maran Al-Ahly last Sunday, to find out the size of the injury and determine his position when participating in training.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly Football Manager, stated that Taher had started to implement his qualification program to recover from injury, adding that he would organize group training for the team within ten days at most.

He noted that the medical device launched a treatment and rehabilitation program for the player to recover from the injury to the front muscle.

Al-Ahly recruited Taher Mohamed Taher from the Arab Contractors Club in the club’s first deals during the current summer transfer period, to start his career at the Red Castle, starting in the upcoming 2020/2021 season.

Notably, Al-Ahly is currently preparing for the two matches between Abu Qir Fertilizers in the Egypt Cup quarter-finals next Saturday at Burj Al Arab Stadium, and Zamalek in the upcoming African Champions League final. on November 27 at the Cairo Stadium.
