The Liverpool Echo newspaper, interested in the news from Liverpool, assured that the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, a player for the Reds, will not be able to join his team’s match against Atalanta of Italy in the Champions League, scheduled for November 25, and added that his return could be later this month.

Mohamed Salah is currently in Cairo, where he joined the camp of the national team, which plays the third and fourth round matches against Togo in the African qualifiers for the African nations in Cameroon.

Salah suffered a Corona virus infection and was unable to participate in the first match of the Egyptian team against Togo, which brought them together last night, Saturday, in the third round of the African qualifiers for Kan and ended in favor of the pharaohs unanswered.

“Mo” will not be able to participate in the fourth round match against Togo, scheduled for Tuesday, due to being in quarantine.

According to the “Liverpool Echo” newspaper, Salah has not shown any symptoms and will therefore be subject to isolation for at least 10 days.

He added that if a Liverpool player had symptoms, they may need to undergo isolation for a longer period.

The newspaper speculated on the date of Salah’s return to participate with Liverpool, confirming that he will be out of the Leicester City match on the ninth day of the English Premier League, scheduled for November 22.

The “Liverpool Echo” indicated that the Egyptian international’s participation against Atalanta (25 November) in the fourth day of the group stage of the European Champions League may be in doubt, so his presence against Brighton ( November 28) on matchday 10 of the Premier League is the most realistic schedule for the Egyptian player.

Notably, Mohamed Salah scored 10 goals this season for Liverpool in 11 matches in the English Premier League and the European Champions League.
