Al-Nujila Isolation Hospital in Matrouh said it has become an intensive care hospital for all Matrouh hospitals for Corona patients needing care as a result of their deteriorating condition in home isolation or chest hospitals. and fever.
The hospital added in a statement published Thursday night: “We have only been converted to intensive care. We have not received any stable cases for 3 months. Critical cases that need a ventilator or strong gas network like those at Hospital Al -Nujaila will reach us until the establishment of the gas network at Al-Sadr Hospital is completed soon. “
The statement indicated that the cases are transferred from the Chest and Fever Hospital and the rest of the Matrouh Hospitals, according to the transfer protocol of the Ministry of Health and under the supervision of the Matrouh Health Directorate.
He explained that the hospital has a medical staff of the highest level of the critical care team of the Ministry of Health and a high-level nursing staff.
The statement said that Al-Nujaila is no longer a hospital to isolate stable cases as it used to be, only critical and very dangerous cases, due to the development of the second wave of the emerging coronavirus-19.
He added: “We ask our families to understand the new situation of the second wave of that epidemic, that the situation is dangerous and that it has a great advantage to have a hospital dedicated to the critical care of Corona cases at Al-Nujaila Hospital.” .
