Pyramids surprise Al-Ahly over expected settlement

Press reports revealed the final position of the Pyramids Club regarding the transfer of its Burkina Faso player Eric Traore to Al-Ahly during the current summer transfer period, after Red Castle officials asked it to obtain your services in the new season.

South African coach Pitso Musimani, Al-Ahly coach, asked to sign Eric Traore in place of Mohamed Farouk in the exchange agreement with Pyramids Club in exchange for the transfer of Ahmed Al-Sheikh to the Al-Samawi club in the current Summer Market .

Musimani prefers to sign Traore, who he believes will be more beneficial to the team than Mohamed Farouk, who includes Al-Ahly several alternatives in the same position.

Reports confirmed that the Pyramids Club rejected Al-Ahly’s request to transfer Eric Traore to the Red Castle in an exchange deal with Ahmed Al-Sheikh this summer, and accepted Mohamed Farouk’s entry into the deal.

Traore came very close to moving to the Al-Ahly club in the winter of 2019 before the Pyramids managed to close the deal.

Talks still continue between Al-Ahly and Pyramids today, although the closest focus is the transfer of Mohamed Farouk to the Red Castle in exchange for Ahmed Al-Sheikh joining the Al-Samawi club.
