A source from the Egyptian Football Association confirmed that a ceremony will be held tomorrow Wednesday in honor of Mohamed Salah, a player for the Egyptian team and the English club Liverpool.

The source – who declined to be named – in private statements in Laila Kora, indicated that the ceremony, which will begin at 7:30 on Wednesday, will be held at the hotel of the Egyptian team.

The ceremony pays tribute to Mohamed Salah after leading Liverpool to the Premier League title, “Premier League” last season.

The source indicated that the Football Association invited a small number of Egyptian football players and symbols, including Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly, and Hassan Shehata, former coach of the Egyptian national team.

The source concluded his speech by noting that Shawky Gharib, the coach of the Olympic team, and the two former captains of the Egyptian national team Ahmed Hassan and Essam El-Hadary, were among those invited to attend the ceremony.

It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah arrived in Cairo yesterday evening, Monday, to join the Egyptian team’s camp in preparation for the two games against Togo in the third and fourth rounds of the African Nations Qualifiers.
