On Tuesday, Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hajjan, Governor of Qalyubia, released the electrical current from the Benha City Transformer Station to the Benha Teaching Hospital, then inspected it in preparation for its trial operation and introduction of the service to receive patients, accompanied by Dr. Hamdi Al-Tabakh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Eng. Amal. Benha City President and Dr. Umniah Mahmoud Khalifa, Director of Benha Teaching Hospital.

It is worth noting that the Benha Teaching Hospital is being fully developed and a new building has been constructed which includes multiple rare surgeries that are necessary for governance such as catheter, open heart, brain, nerve, heart and vessel operations blood vessels, endoscopes, organ transplants, liver operations, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgeries, specialized intensive care departments and other rare intensive care departments. Its presence in the hospitals of the government, with a total cost of more than 260 million pounds

The governor indicated that the location of the hospital is very different because it is located in the middle of many medical services, such as the ambulance center, the central laboratories, the Health Insurance Hospital, the Specialized Hospital for Children and other health services that will be used by the hospital after its opening.

The governor added that the hospital is designed in accordance with the latest international medical standards and is equipped with the latest medical devices and modern operating rooms, due to the precision and importance of surgical operations, and following the highest standards of infection control.
