Bakri Selim, Egypt’s CEO, revealed that the club has reached an agreement with Ceramica Cleopatra to sell five players, led by Mohamed Ibrahim, to the ranks of the newly promoted Premier League team.

Selim said, in a telephone statement to the “Audiencia Tala” program on the “On Time Sports 2” channel on Monday night, “We have been through circumstances that are represented in the Misr Clearing Company’s reluctance to complete soccer activity.”

He added: “We respect the company’s wish, and the club’s board of directors headed by Major General Mohamed Abdel Salam decided to rely on its internal resources, so it was decided to sell five players to Ceramica Cleopatra.

He continued: “These players are Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Sami, Ahmed Mohsen, Mohamed Touni and Mohamed Massad, and they were sold for 27 million pounds, and this financial return is satisfactory for us under the current circumstances.

“The deal is in very advanced stages and there is a desire from both parties, but it has not been formally concluded and five young players will be included to compensate the five because we are suffering a financial crisis,” concluded the executive director of the clearinghouse .
