Dr. Muhammad Awad Tajuddin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs and former Minister of Health called on the public to continue with precautionary and preventive measures, social distancing, the use of disinfectants and concern for hygiene personal and public, to face the second wave of the emerging coronavirus.
He warned about the danger of the virus and its ability to spread rapidly, noting that an infected person can transmit the infection to more than 4 people, in addition to extending the incubation period of the disease for more than 14 days, which is very dangerous.
This occurred during his “Online” participation in a scientific conference entitled “The Egyptian experience .. Covid 19”, as part of the activities of the first day of the Tenth International Conference on Development and Environment in the Arab World, which is organized by the Assiut University for a period of 3 days.
The Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs to the President of the Republic praised the distinguished Egyptian experience in facing the coronavirus pandemic, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with prompt and early intervention and providing all aspects of material support, institutional and humane since the beginning of its spread in Egypt, and working to expand the umbrella of medical care in the Republic.
