Samir Halabiya, president of Al-Masry, revealed the position of the Port Said club by signing Al-Ahly duo, Alio Badji or Geraldo da Costa, during the current summer transfer period.
During radio statements for the “Falcon Stadium” program, Halabiya said: “Al-Ahly has a problem with us, of which I do not know the cause.
He added: “When you want to include Egyptian players (Belv and Odeor) and they talk to us without seriousness, and in the end the deal fails.”
He continued: “I hope there will be fruitful cooperation with Al-Ahly Club in the next period.”
He continued: “Currently, Ali Maher (the coach of the team) has not requested to sign Al-Ahly players, and there may be negotiations in the next period.”
He continued: “We are looking to include a goalkeeper and a defense duo, and we will announce new deals within 48 hours.”
On the stadium in which the team will play its league matches, he said: “We hope that the Al-Masry matches will be held in Port Said, and if we don’t, then I think playing in Suez or Ismailia will be good, while Ali Maher wants to play for Burj Al Arab. “
The Al-Masry president concluded his speech by saying: “The team will return strongly to its natural place and will compete strongly in the Egyptian League next season.”
