Real Madrid coach, Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, expressed his dissatisfaction with the hard defeat suffered by his team against Valencia 1-4, on Sunday, in the ninth day of the Spanish Football League.
Zidane said after the game, in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca: “After scoring the goal of progression, we went back a bit and changed the dynamics of what we were doing. It is difficult to understand what happened.”
He added: “Regret my choices for the starting lineup? They are all Real Madrid players so I chose this squad.”
And he added: “Video technology? I am not going to criticize it, since they are arbitration decisions.”

Regarding the errors of his defenses, Zidane commented: “There are no excuses, our team collapsed after the first goal we found, although we did not back down as we did before.”
He concluded: “I don’t think Valencia was better than us in terms of tactics … but I am the culprit, because I had to find solutions.”
With this victory, Valencia raised their score to 11 points, in ninth place, while Real Madrid’s balance remained at 16 points, in fourth place, knowing that they have a game in their pocket.
