Zamalek’s international spell was organized in the Egyptian team’s training session in preparation for their meeting with Togo in the upcoming 2021 African Nations Qualifiers in Cameroon.
The Zamalek international six had a negative break from training after playing the second leg of the Moroccan Raja in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals, which ended with Al-Abyad’s 3-1 victory.
Hexagonist Muhammad Abu Jabal, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wansh”, Mahmoud Alaa, Tariq Hamed, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” and Mustafa Muhammad participated in team training normally with the other players.
The Egyptian team started their open field in preparation for the two clashes with Togo from Tuesday, and Hossam Al-Badri, the coach of the national team, had previously announced the inclusion of 5 professionals, namely Mohamed Salah, Ahmed Hegazy , Mohamed Al-Nani, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and Ahmed Hassan Kouka, as well as local players from Zamalek to Al-Ahly. The fate of the final of the CAF Champions League was decided.
The national team also included 6 players from the Al-Ahly club after the end of the second leg against Moroccan Wydad in the semi-finals of the Champions League, which Latvia won 3-1.
Zamalek had managed to overcome Moroccan hope after beating them 4-1 in the aggregate of the first and second matches, to set a date with Al-Ahly in an unprecedented final of the African Champions League on 27 November.
The Egyptian team prepares to face Togo, back and forth, on November 14 and 17, in the third and fourth rounds of the qualifying rounds for the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
