A report in the Spanish press claimed that Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, has left Sergio Regilon for personal reasons.
Rigilon never entered Zidane’s accounts, to be loaned out to Sevilla last season and to go to Tottenham Hotspur this season.
And the newspaper “Confidencial” said that the problem of Zidane and Rigilon was due to a dispute between the latter and Luca Zidane while they were in the Real Madrid quarry.
Regilon has joined forces with Luca, son of the current Real Madrid coach, at different ages, and their relationship does not appear to be good, according to the report.
The report highlighted the marginalization of Zidane to Regilon 5 years ago, when Zizo was coach of Real Madrid Castilla.
Regilon was a Real Madrid player at the time, but he didn’t get his chance and was loaned out to Logrones, before Zidane took over the first team that same season.
With the departure of Zidane from the first team in 2018, Regilon was promoted to the first team, and had great opportunities for participation under the leadership of Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, a situation that did not continue with the return of Zidane.
