Zamalek: Al-Wensch to travel to Germany after Africa final

Hani Zada, a member of the Zamalek board, announced that Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wensh, the defender of the white team, had traveled to Germany after the final of the African Champions League against the Al-Ahly club, due to an injury in the cartilage.

Zada said in telephone statements to the “Number One” program through the “Al-Nahar” channel in the early hours of Friday: “The medical apparatus in Zamalek has given everything it has to prepare the winch to participate in the Hope match with so much efficiency”.

He added that “Al-Winch will play the final of the African Champions League, and then he will travel to Germany with Muhammad Osama, the team doctor, to undergo some tests for the sake of tranquility.”

A member of the Zamalek board of directors concluded: “We hope that God will keep the injury away from Mahmoud Al-Wensh and his colleagues. He played a great match against Raja, and I consider him one of the soldiers of the Zamalek club.”

Zamalek had defeated Raja of Morocco at Cairo Stadium 3-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, to reach the final after winning the aggregate of two games with a score (4 -1).

Zamalek is reported to face Al-Ahly in the final of the African Champions League on November 27.
