The Peace Prosecutor’s Office investigates a run-over of two children while driving their car at crazy speed in Especo in the city of Paz.
The details of the incident began when the Al-Salam Police Department received for the first time a notification from the people of “Saad A” and the famous “Al-Libi” with his car, the two boys, Muhammad, 7 years old, and Ruqayya, 5, while playing in front of their home in the poultry area, and immediately a security force moved to the scene.
The boy was found to have a fractured skull and internal bleeding and is being treated at Al-Salam Hospital, while the boy suffered separate fractures and is in stable condition.
Eyewitnesses said in the investigations that the accident occurred last Tuesday night, as the defendant showed a “Fiat” car on the street, and suddenly collided with a tree and two children, and after the parents pulled out, ran away with a friend.
Social media users circulated a video, in which the defendant was driving a car at insane speed in a residential area full of children and colliding with a tree and two children after the steering wheel was disturbed.
The prosecution asked the mabahith to inquire about the incident and ordered that the accused be arrested and taken away.
