The Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, won the state of Michigan by snatching 16 electoral votes from him in the US presidential race.
Biden’s vote at the electoral college rose to 264, compared to 214 for his Republican rival, Donald Trump, according to Fox News.
Biden now needs just six electoral college votes to decide the race for the White House.
