The full moon will appear for the first time in the Halloween night sky around the world since 1944
Halloween fans experience an additional atmosphere of fun and fear because of the moon, which will appear at this year’s festivities, complete to illuminate the sky on Saturday night, and inspire in souls the fear associated with myths of the rise of werewolves.
But the traditional Halloween celebrations will be completely different this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
However, there will be a silver lining, as mutated werewolves will be able to appear and howl, since according to prevailing myths, some believe that there are humans who turn into wolves on the night of the full moon.
It will be the first time since 1974 that a full moon has appeared at Halloween celebrations in Ireland and Great Britain, according to Astronomy of Ireland.
As it is the second full moon that appears in the month of October, it is known as a “blue moon”, although it will not appear blue in the sky.
David Moore from the Irish Authority said: “The moon will appear in its perfect form at 2:49 pm on Halloween, and when the sun sets, the moon will rise in the sky, appearing full and bright.”
He added: “The ending of the Halloween moon may happen a few times per century and won’t happen again in Ireland and Britain until 2039.”
The Authority hopes that there will be much excitement surrounding this important heavenly event.
David explained that some associate Halloween with the appearance of ghosts and demons, “but this year there will also be werewolves due to the full moon.”

He noted that the celebrations would be great fun for the general public, “We hope it excites everyone.”
It will be the first time that the full moon has appeared on Halloween worldwide since 1944.
“Anything that makes people aware of what is happening in the sky is very helpful,” said Terry Mosley of the Irish Astronomical Society.
He added: “I suppose there is a certain relationship between the full moon and the witches and spirits that move on Halloween night that pique people’s interest.”
“It’s one of those things that happens quite often.”

The question now, with Storm Eden preparing to move on Saturday, will we be able to see the moon?
The good news is that although the storm is accompanied by strong winds, rain and occasional clouds, some clear moments are also expected during the afternoon and evening.
So if you can, why not take a break from eating candy, Halloween food, and watching spooky movies to catch a glimpse of the full moon this Halloween?
This event will not be repeated for the next 19 years.
