Alaa Wahid, the Ismaili club spokesman, said his club entered into negotiations with some of Al-Ahly’s players during the last period.
Wahid added in statements on “Al-Nahar” screen: “Some Al-Ahly players have grown up to join the Ismaili for various reasons, be it financially or for other offerings.
Ismaily is entitled to get a player from Al-Ahly on loan, after Mahmoud Metwally moved into the Red Castle ranks last summer.
On the fact that Ismaily got Aliyu Badji, the Al-Ahly forward, he replied: “I have no information on Badji to obtain his services, but all matters are contained due to our strong relationship with Al-Ahly.”
Badji joined Al-Ahly in the latest winter transfer market from Austrian team Rapid Vienna, but the Senegalese striker has been away from Betso Mosimane’s accounts of late.
Ismaili’s spokesman stressed at the end of his remarks that there is no intention to leave the services of the duo, Baher Al-Muhammadi and Abdel-Rahman Magdy.
Baher Al-Muhammadi has a contract with the Ismaili for a period of three years, in exchange for five and a half years for Abd al-Rahman Magdy.
Ismaili officials were able to obtain the services of the trio of the Angolan wing Ari Babel, the Algerian Radwan Sharifi, and finally Ahmed Mustafa, the player of the Belgian team from Ghent.
