The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that what was reported in some media, websites and social media pages, about the abolition of the attendance and absenteeism system in schools during the new academic year, is unfounded.
The Press Center of the Council of Ministers stated, in the clarifying report of the events, on Friday, that in contact with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education it denied these reports, confirming that there is no validity to cancel the attendance and absenteeism system in schools during the new academic year, explaining that attendance and absenteeism registration procedures continue in the different educational stages. During the new academic year, according to the plan announced by the ministry, with the activation of the distance education system in addition to going to school, as part of the precautionary measures to face the Corona virus.
