A source from the African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed that the dates of the semi-finals and the final of the African Champions League will be announced within a maximum period of 48 hours.
The source said in his statements to ‘Yallakora’ that they are currently working on discussing the matter with all parties, provided that the Champions League semi-final and final date is set at 48 hours maximum, so the matter will be clear next Saturday for all games.
And the Confederation of African Football announced today, Thursday, the postponement of the semifinals of the African Champions League, by agreement between the two parties to the match, in addition to the final match, at the request of the Egyptian authorities.
The same source proceeded to clarify the situation, noting that possible options regarding the date of the two games are currently being discussed, and that the dates in circulation could not be confirmed until after their official announcement.
The semi-final second leg between Zamalek and Raja Casablanca was postponed from October 24 to November 1, before being postponed again to a date yet to be determined.
Al-Ahly qualified for the final of the African Champions League, and the second match is waiting for the match.
