Al-Ahly announces new decision after postponing the final date of the African Champions League

The Al-Ahly Club Board of Directors, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, decided to change the date of the ordinary general assembly meeting to be November 23 and 24 instead of November 27 and 28, according to the prior decision of the board of directors.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) decided to postpone the final match of the African Champions League B Al-Ahly and the winner of the match between Zamalek and Moroccan Raja, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, which it was also postponed indefinitely.

The amendment decision came last Thursday night, and after discussing the dates for the final match of the Champions League, which changes from time to time, and Al-Ahly will be one of the two matches.

It was decided earlier on November 6 to celebrate the aforementioned match, and 24 hours before it was said that the match would be postponed until November 10, after which the media discussed another date for the match on November 27, that is, a week after the completion of the African qualifiers for the teams, then it came to CAF’s official accounts to postpone the match indefinitely, in addition to specifying the Burj Al Arab stadium in Alexandria to host the match, at the same time the Board of Directors is fully committed to the need to attend the General Assembly meeting to discuss the annual report and the activities of the activity and to approve the budget.

Given these changes in dates and the need for a commitment that the General Assembly holds its annual meeting before the end of November in accordance with the regulations and laws, the Board of Directors made the aforementioned decision, to be present at the General Assembly meeting November 23 and 24.
