Investigations by the Toukh Prosecutor’s Office in Qalyubia governorate revealed a new surprise in the incident of starving a baby inside his parents’ apartment in the village of Kafr al-Fuqaha, after the prosecution heard the statements. of the neighbors of the accused, in addition to downloading the calls that took place between the spouses during the time that the minor left them alone in the house.
The Prosecutor’s Office explained that the accused “mother” confirmed that her phone automatically recorded the conversations that took place through it, and after examining the Public Ministry, the Public Ministry heard a conversation between her and her husband in which she She said she was on her way home, and he asked her about the baby and she replied that she left him. To take care of him and not know anything about him, then they turned their conversation to other matters, not indifferent to the state of the infant.
For her part, Shahd, 14, a neighbor of the minor’s parents, Anas, denied, during the prosecution’s investigations, the allegations of the minor’s mother that she had contacted her and asked her to go up to the apartment , to see how the baby was, two days after she left the marital home to her family’s house, after a disagreement with her husband before traveling to work.
Shahd added that this did not happen and no one called her, and no one prevented her from going up to the house and checking the girl, as the mother mentioned in the investigations, and her family promoted their conversation about the incident on her behalf.
Yesterday Wednesday, the opposition judge of the Toukh Partial Court ordered the resumption of the detention of Toukh’s baby’s parents, for causing the death of their four-month-old son, Anas, after leaving him alone without feeding for a full 9 days until who died of hunger.
The Toukh Police Station Prosecutor charged Rabd’a Toukh’s parents with 4 counts, the first of which was premeditated manslaughter, which resulted in the death of a person and endangered a child, and the fourth for expose a child to danger by leaving a place free from human beings.
The Director of Security, Major General Fakhr Al-Arabi, received a notification from Brigadier General Tamer Moussa, director of the Toukh Center, of a report by “AH – Amel” that he had discovered the death of his son, Anas. SHN – 24 years old, they left their little one alone until he died.
In the investigations, the father of the minor reported that there were ongoing disputes with his wife, and that he remained at his workplace for several days in a row due to these disputes, and that upon returning to his residence he discovered the death of the infant.
Brigadier General Khaled al-Muhammadi, the directorate’s chief of investigations, went to the scene of the accident and, by examining, conducting investigations and gathering information, it was found that on 17 October this year a dispute broke out between the husband denounced and his wife. Shopping, except that she went to her family’s home in the same area without her husband’s knowledge.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mahmoud Ismail, head of investigations at the Toukh Center, added that with the wife’s delay in returning home, her husband went to work, leaving the baby alone inside the apartment, while the bedroom door was not closed. He closed, believing that his wife would return after completing the purchase of his necessities, which was not enough. It happens when the husband discovers the death of his son after several days of work.
When asking the mother of the deceased child, she confirmed the content of what came with the examination and explained that she did not return to assure her baby that she believed that the father of the child accompanied and cared for him.
A report was prepared on the incident, while the Prosecutor’s Office investigated the accusation of the parents for negligence that caused the death of their baby.
