Peter Crouch of England and former Liverpool forward confirmed that there has been a remarkable development in the performance of Egyptian Reds player Mohamed Salah since the start of this season.
In statements published in the English newspaper Mirror, Crouch indicated that Salah’s shift from scoring only goals to helping his teammates and creating scoring opportunities for them makes him an integrated player, as he described.
Crouch said: “Talking about Salah’s number of goals is ridiculous, let’s look at it from the other side, since the beginning of the season he has been sharp and decisive in all styles of play.”
He continued: “It’s clear, his passing and movements have become different. He has gone to another level, he is an incredible player.”
He added: “We have seen several clips of him on British television. The passes he makes this season are deep, they cross lines, they hit two or three defenders and put them offside.”
He added: “When he signed for Liverpool, Salah scored 44 goals in the first season, he was shooting from all points on the pitch, and the pass was his last option, but now he looks at his teammates when he reaches the dangerous areas.
He explained: “Don’t get me wrong. I still see that Salah is selfish and has the right to do it, but the way he plays his passes has become wonderful.”
He concluded: “Everyone has to be selfish, but Salah has become a cruel scorer, he has gone from winger to sharp scoring machine, and by creating opportunities for his teammates, he has become a player. integrated”.
