The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Sunday night the interception of a third bombed plane launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi news agency, “SPA”, the spokesman for the coalition forces, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the joint coalition forces were able, on Sunday morning, to intercept and destroy an explosive drone launched by the Houthi terrorist militia systematically and deliberately to attack civilian and civilian objects in the southern region.

For its part, Civil Defense in Asir announced that shrapnel fell on civilians and civilian objects in Sarat Abidah due to the interception of a drone launched by the Houthi terrorist militia and wounding a civilian.

The coalition also announced on Saturday the interception and destruction of a booby-trapped plane launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia.

On Friday, coalition forces confirmed, in two separate statements, the destruction of two Houthi explosive jets that were heading towards Saudi Arabia.

Recently, the Houthi militia intensified its military operations with drones, in an attempt to attack civilian objects in Saudi Arabia and Yemeni governorates that are witnessing clashes, in particular Nehm, Ma’rib, Al-Jawf and the west coast.
