Said Wahbi, official spokesman for the Moroccan club Raja, denied the news that spread in recent days about the recovery of 4 team players with the new Corona virus.

“Wehbe” confirmed in televised statements that what is reported about the recovery of some players from the new Corona virus is completely incorrect news, and that no player on the team has completed the recovery so far.

The official spokesperson for the Moroccan Raja Club stated that two new cases of Coronavirus were recorded among Raja’s ranks, bringing the total to 16 cases among players, and the team is currently under quarantine.

He stressed that the Moroccan team of Raja, with all its members including players and a technical, medical and administrative apparatus, is currently in quarantine for a week and has been prevented from traveling to Egypt to meet the Zamalek team, highlighting that it more important for them is the recovery of all the players.

He expressed his wish that the team be ready to face Zamalek before the next match between them on November 1, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semifinals, after the match was postponed by the African Union.

Zamalek beat Moroccan Raja in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final with an unanswered goal.
