Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, said that he decided to file a complaint against the African Football Confederation (CAF) before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) for the decision to postpone the meeting between Zamalek and the Moroccan Raja.

The CAF had decided to postpone the match between Zamalek and Moroccan Raja Casablanca, which was scheduled to take place next Saturday for the first of November.

Al-Kef confirmed that the final match would be played on November 6, prompting Mortada Mansour to file a complaint, as there is no equal opportunity as described, as the Al-Ahly and Wydad match will be played on Friday October 23, so the team that qualified from that confrontation will remain on standby for 14 days.

Mortada Mansour said in statements on the Zamalek channel that a memorandum was drafted to present it to the Court of Arbitration for Sport “Cass”, in which it is mentioned that the CAF postponed the match due to pressing circumstances, which are Corona cases with the Raja team , and that a new crown swab must be done to the players of both teams before 48 Hours of play.

Mortada confirmed that it was indicated in the memorandum that there were parties that were held with the presence of Corona cases, such as the Pyramids party, Huria Conakry, the Hassania Agadir party and the Borkan Renaissance party in the Confederacy.

Murtado asked why when the Al-Ahly and Wydad party was postponed, similar to what happened with the Zamalek and Al-Raja party when there were cases of Corona in the Wydad ranks last September.

Mortada revealed that Zamalek was not ready to face Raja next Saturday, due to injuries in his ranks from Mahmoud Alaa, Hazem Imam, Shekabala, Muhammad Abdel Shafi and Ferjani Sassi.

Mansour added that he hopes to face Al-Ahly in the final, because he is optimistic about facing the red genius in the final matches.
