BeIN Sports Network confirmed that the African Football Confederation has decided to postpone the match between Zamalek and Moroccan Raja, which was scheduled for next Saturday, in the semifinal round of the African Champions League competition, until 1 November.

The Moroccan team Raja recently submitted a request to the African Football Confederation to postpone their match against Zamalek, due to the Moroccan Ministry of Health rejecting the team’s trip to Cairo after 8 players were infected with the Corona virus.

“BN Sport” reported that the CAF decided to postpone the match between Zamalek and Al-Raja until November 1.

The sports network added that the final of the African Champions League will be played on “November 6”.

Zamalek beat Raja with an unanswered goal last Sunday in the match that brought the two teams together at the Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca.

The semi-finals of the African Champions League competition are held without the presence of the masses, due to the emerging corona virus, “Covid 19”.

Notably, Egypt will host the final of the African Champions League this season, if Al-Ahly and Zamalek qualify, or if an Egyptian team qualify with a Moroccan team, but in the case of Wydad’s promotion, we expect the final is held in Morocco.
