Books – Omar Qura:
Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek Club, welcomed the postponement of the match against Raja in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, due to the infections by the Corona virus that affected the Moroccan team.
Zamalek had beaten Raja in Casablanca to set foot in the final match, but the Moroccan team will travel to Cairo, minus 8 players, after all of them injured Corona.
“I agree to postpone the Zamalek and Al-Raja party because we are one people and I am an Arab nationalist,” Mortada said in a telephone statement to Al-Hadath Today on Tuesday.
He added: “Without having to wait for the decision of the African Union, it was I who launched the initiative to postpone the game until the players with Corona recovered in the ranks of the Raja.”
Murtado went on to talk about the media initiative, Sayed Ali, host of the show, on the idea of sharing the African Champions League between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, saying: “A great idea, but difficult to implement and the Union Africana will not agree. “
He continued: “But there is another initiative, whoever wins, a party is being organized between Al-Ahly and Zamalek with the masses in favor of a solidarity project in Egypt.”
He continued: “My goal of the initiative of a party between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the presence of the masses is to sit side by side without interruptions, because there is an enemy that is stalking us and wants to ignite sedition in the country through the mass fanaticism “.
He explained: “I want to beat Al-Ahly in every game, but only inside the stadium, and not through insults and (antitrust), which I don’t want to happen to any game. These issues increase and ignite discord only between the masses “.
Mortada concluded by saying: “Al-Ahly and Zamalek fans represent Egypt, and Al-Ahly and Zamalek have honored Egypt in the Champions League. I congratulated Al-Ahly through the Zamalek channel, and greeted Al- Ahly after fighting them in the Pyramids match. “
