Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will wear a special pair of Adidas sneakers in the Champions League this week, after he scored the 100th goal for his club Liverpool in the “Merseyside” derby against Everton on Saturday.
The Egyptian pharaoh became the 17th player to score 100 or more goals in Liverpool’s history in various competitions, since his move to the Rome “Reds” in the summer of 2017.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” revealed that the sportswear company Adidas decided to celebrate Salah’s achievement by creating a customized version of the X Ghosted soccer shoes for the Liverpool striker to wear in the “Reds” match. UEFA Champions League against Ajax next Wednesday.
The limited edition shoe design, dubbed “Mo’s Golden Touch”, will see the Liverpool player, who is wearing the number 11 jersey, enter the field wearing a pair of gold and white shoes with the accompanying “Salah100” lettering, plus of a flag. His country is Egypt.

28-year-old Mohamed Salah scored 79 goals in the English Premier League, 19 goals in the European Champions League, one goal in the Euro Cup qualifiers and one goal in the FA Cup.
