“I’m going to denounce the wheel.” With these words, the 13-year-old girl, Malak, threatened her aunt and her aunt’s husband, who was staying with them after her father married another and her mother was jailed for a drug case.
The girl “Malak” did not know that the result of the threat she made to her aunt and her aunt’s husband, who were working to run a drug trafficking ring in the Katameya area, would end up torturing her to death.
The beginning was a report that the police station detectives received from the families that the body of a child had been found.
When detectives went to the place of the report, the body of a boy was found inside a cell with signs of severe torture and burns, and was unknown in a desert area far from the residential block.
The first step for the detectives was to discover the identity of the child, find out the circumstances of the crime, reveal the identity of the perpetrators and arrest them.
With the intensification of efforts and the publication of the descriptions of the girl’s body, her sister was contacted, who revealed that the deceased was called “Malak”, and was staying with her aunt and her aunt’s husband in the Katameya area.
Immediately, the police officers of the department directed a mission to the place of residence of the girl’s aunt, after investigations confirmed that the defendants were among the criminal elements and had a bad reputation and used to torture her with electric shocks and severe beatings, and it was found that they had left the scene several days after the accident.
Following its course, they were detained inside an apartment in the Al-Labini area of the Giza governorate and, in front of them, confessed to having committed the incident.
They added that the girl died as a result of the torture that they subjected her with boiling oil, which resulted in her death on the spot, for which they placed her body on a cell phone and threw it into a desert area far from the residential block, then fled to hide inside the apartment where they were kidnapped.
The necessary report was edited and the prosecution began the investigation.
