Press reports revealed that the Moroccan club Raja will request the African Football Confederation (CAF) to postpone its match against Zamalek in the second leg of the semifinals of the African Champions League, due to the presence of 8 cases of Corona virus between Players.

Today, Monday, there was an increase in the number of people infected with the Coronavirus in Raja, after the tests revealed the positive sample of six new players: Mohsen Metwally, Omar Arjun, Anas Jabroun, Abdel Ilah Al Hafizi, Abdel Rahim Shakir and Elias Al-Haddad.

The Moroccan website “le360 Sport” reported statements from an official in Raja, confirming that the club’s management will present an urgent request to the African Union emergency committee to postpone the match due to the multiplicity of Corona-infected cases.

Previously, it was also recorded that Mohamed Azrida and Ayoub Naah were injured, which would prevent Raja from traveling 8 players as part of the team’s mission to Cairo for the second leg next Saturday in the semi-final second leg of the League of Champions.

Zamalek reportedly stepped onto the African Champions League final after beating Raja in Casablanca with a clean goal from Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki, so the White Knight is close to reaching the final scheduled for next month.
