A source from the Al-Ahly club confirmed that Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, the team’s midfielder, is medically ready to be with the team in the next period of preparation for the match against Moroccan Wydad.

Kahraba missed the match between Al-Ahly and Wydad in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semifinals due to a hamstring injury.

Al-Ahly managed to win the first leg against Wydad, 2-0, and the second leg is scheduled for next Friday at the Estadio Internacional Stadium in Cairo.

In his statements to Yalla Koura, the source said that “Musimani forced Kahraba to continue carrying out his qualification and physical program away from the rest that the team got for 48 hours after returning from Morocco.”

He added: “From a medical point of view, he recovered from the muscular tension he suffered at the Pyramids match.”

“But Kahraba needs to be physically ready so that he can at least be in the team bench seats in the second leg,” he said.

He highlighted: “It electrified him for 4 full days, since in them he recovered his full physical form. It will be included in the accounts of the coaching staff against Wydad.

The source concluded his statements by saying: “From a medical point of view, his condition is very good after he completely got rid of the pain he complained of in the posterior muscle.”
