Meteorological experts said the country is expected to witness a state of instability in the weather, from Tuesday until next Sunday.
The experts added that fluctuations in the climate are expected to be accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and the fall of moderate to heavy rains in different regions of the country.
Meteorologists confirmed that he has coordinated with interested authorities in preparation for the rains, in addition to coordinating with Cabinet decision support and the decision-making operations room, and addressing governors concerned about instability. .
The experts pointed out that the abrupt and rapid meteorological fluctuations are one of the most important characteristics of autumn, highlighting that the atmosphere is updated first-hand to know the correct and precise state of instability, through the issuance of meteorological bulletins through the website of the authority or the official page of the authority on “Facebook”.
The authority clarified, in a statement today, that moderate rains are expected on Tuesday in the areas of Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh and Dabaa, and light rains are expected in Alexandria.
On Wednesday, there will be moderate to heavy rains and sometimes thunderstorms in areas of the northern coasts (Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh, Dabaa and Alexandria) and areas of Lower Egypt (Beheira and Kafr El Sheikh) that will be moderate over the rest of the Delta governorates.
Next Thursday to Sunday, moderate to torrential rains and sometimes thunderstorms are expected in areas of the northern coasts (Sallum, Siwa, Matrouh, Dabaa, Alexandria, Rashid and Damietta) and areas of Lower Egypt (Beheira , Kafr El Sheikh, Dakahlia, Dakahlia, West and East) and the Canal cities (Ismailia and Suez, Port Said). The eastern coasts of the country can reach torrent levels in areas of North and Central Sinai, spreading light to medium over areas of northern Upper Egypt (Fayoum, Beni Suef and Minya).
This is accompanied by a decrease in temperature by values of 4-5 degrees; Starting Thursday October 22, on the northern coasts of Lower Egypt and the northern coasts of Upper Egypt.
