Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, said that universities have contracted all educational platforms.
Abdel Ghaffar continued during his interview with the media, Lamis Al-Hadidi, the host of the “Final Word” program broadcast on the “ON E” channel: “Teachers started preparing digital courses 3 months ago.”
He explained: “In the first stage the lectures will be recorded”, adding: “We have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Communications to provide Internet packages to students.”
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, this Saturday morning continued the regularity of the educational process and an inspection visit was made to the universities of Ain Shams and Cairo, as part of the follow-up of the preparations for the universities for the start of the new academic year, amid strict precautionary measures, accompanied by university rectors.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar assured that the Universities of Cairo and Ain Shams will implement all precautionary and prevention measures, organize the process of entering the students to the university campus and measure the temperatures of all students.
The minister stressed the need for all teachers, workers and students to adhere to social distancing measures, wear a medical mask (muzzle) and the need to use disinfectants, to preserve their safety, ordering that all legal measures be taken against all violators of precautionary and preventive measures immediately.
