An urgent judicial decision regarding those accused of killing the “Maadi Girl”

The opposition judge of the Maadi Juvenile Court decided to renew the detention of the defendants by dragging and killing the hostile girl for stealing her, at the intersection of 87th Street with 9th Street at the Maadi 15th barracks pending investigations, after the Prosecutor’s Office decided to imprison the accused for 4 days, on charges of homicide associated with robbery.

The two defendants had confessed to the investigating authorities that the incident had been committed. He said that the first accused “driver” had been working on his minibus for more than a year as he worked on it on the “Maadi – Dar al-Salam” passenger line. The owner of the car, Muhammad Abdulaziz, confirmed that it was the day of the accident. The defendant came at seven in the morning, received the car as usual and left it in front of his house at eight at night, he was confused and did not speak to him about anything unusual every day.

The owner of the car added during the investigations that he did not know anything about the accident until he was arrested from his home for asking who was driving the car at the time of the accident, and guided the first defendant. Judicial sources said that it had been decided to detain the owner of the car to be investigated on charges of “destruction of metal plates”.

The Public Ministry decided to detain the accused for a period of 4 days pending investigations into the murder of Maryam, the “enemy girl.” A Cairo investigation force escorted the defendants, after they confessed in the investigation report to the accusations against them of attempting to rob the victim under duress and being associated with the crime of murder.

The Prosecutor’s Office announced the details of the accident that killed a girl in the Maadi neighborhood, where it received a report from the emergency room of the Maadi Police Department, about the death of the victim, “Maryam”, 24, in the Maadi neighborhood, and that a witness had informed the police that he had seen a car (white minibus). Two people ride in it, her driver’s escort snatched the victim’s bag, leading her to collide with a parked car and then to her death.

The statement added that the “Public Ministry” went to discuss the victim’s body, and found that she was injured in different parts of her body. She also went to inspect the scene, accompanied by officials from the “General Directorate of Forensic Evidence Investigation.” He assigned administration officials to compare it to the victim’s blood sample.

The “Public Ministry” managed to obtain 5 video clips from the surveillance cameras with a view of the scene of the accident, from which it was clear that the car in which the defendants were traveling passed very quickly.
