The security services of the city of Al Salam in Cairo were able to reveal the circumstances of the death of a newborn of a woman from Menoufia, who resides in the department, after receiving a notification from the hospital stating that the infant he had arrived at the hospital and died, accompanied by his mother and stepfather.
The Al-Salam General Hospital had notified the Al-Salam Police Department of the arrival of a dead infant with bruises on his neck, accompanied by his mother and stepfather, for which he informed the responsible security authorities to take legal measures.
As soon as the security services received the notification from the hospital, they were transferred to the hospital, and the statements of the girl’s mother and stepfather were heard to complete the formalities.
The security services, which heard the statements of the child’s mother, found that the infant who died due to an illicit relationship (carrying incest) died after the accused put his hand in his mouth until his death, because his father did not acknowledged and refused to marry her.
It was also found that the illegitimate relationship between the mother of the deceased baby and the father of the child took place in the Tala district of the Menoufia governorate, and that the accused had come to stay with her mother’s husband in the department from Peace City because her case had not been disclosed in her city of Menoufia.
The mother of the deceased infant admitted the details of the act and how it was committed, and legal measures are being taken with her and presented to the competent prosecutor’s office.
