Actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz collapsed today at the funeral of the late great artist Mahmoud Yassin, as she was in the company of the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, who accompanied and supported her, while a large number of artists attended the funeral.

The funeral prayer took place today, Thursday, at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, and the body was buried in the family cemetery on Fayoum Road, and then the funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday, October 16. The great artist’s family, which includes the artist Shahira, her son, the artist Amr Mahmoud Yassin, and her daughter, Rania Mahmoud Yassin, and her husband, the artist Mohamed Riad.
Several relatives of the great artist also attended, while he was eager to attend the late artist’s funeral, director Mustafa Fikry, artist Abdullah Mishref and actress Menna Badr Tayseer, daughter of Shahira’s sister, and various art stars.
The great artist Mahmoud Yassin is reported to have passed away yesterday morning, Wednesday October 14, in a fight against the disease at the age of 79. He was born in Port Said in 1941 and is considered one of the most important Egyptian film artists.
He participated in a large number of television and film works, including the film Remember me, Mouths, Rabbits, The Bullet still in my pocket, Nose, Three Eyes, Birth, Ya Dunya, Promise, Al Jazeera, Secret Session and Song on the Corridor .
