Dr. Mahmoud Shalabi, Secretary of Fatwa in Dar Al Iftaa, said that a woman’s’ awrah is with a woman from the navel to the knee.
The secretary of the fatwa added during the video broadcast live on the official page of the house, that the woman with the brother is hidden and it is allowed to uncover her arms and hair, but the sister is with her sister from the navel up to the knee.
Dr. Ali Jumaa, a former mufti of the Republic, explained that the Islamic Ummah agreed that it is forbidden for a woman to show anything on her body except her face and hands. The phenomenon, which is the adornment of the face and hands, is like kohl, which is the adornment of the face, and the ring is the adornment of the palm.
And Jumah continued, in a statement: They quoted from the Prophet’s Sunnah what Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, recounted: “Asma bint Abi Bakr entered the Messenger of Allah – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – wearing fine clothes, so the Messenger of God turned away from her and said: O Asma, the woman When she came to menstruation, he could not see of her except this and this, and pointed to her face and hands. [أبو داود والبيهقي].
And the ummah was unanimously agreed after this evidence that it is mandatory to cover the private part of the man and the woman, and it is in the right of a woman to cover the veil that covers her body, and that has necessarily become a known part of the religion.
He explained that the consensus in this prior capacity denies the presumption that the test is proven, and the test after it becomes final, and it is not permissible to consider it since it contradicts that consensus. An example of this is the consensus that ablution takes precedence over prayer, despite the illusion of the text in the saying of the Almighty: {Oh, those who believe, when you get up to prayer! Where the ummah unanimously agrees that ablution is before prayer and what the verse means: If you want to get up to pray, then wash your face … etc.
He added that the private part is a legitimate affair on the street, and that there is no way for women to discover their nudity in time and place, so if it is not allowed for a man to show his nudity at some point, then no it will be allowed at another time, and likewise, if it is forbidden for a woman to discover any of her nakedness at the time of the Prophet, this does not change. Judgment on the permissibility of the time change
He said that covering nudity is not a matter of jurisprudence that changes with the change of time, and there are many who speak while not knowing that they think that changing some norms related to custom, or changing some way of life related to time, requires change all the rules of religion just because time has changed, and maybe the day will come. What we get is someone who says that the commandment in the days of the Prophet is to worship only God, and time has changed, so we must share God according to the time.
Types of man nudity
Dr Mukhtar Marzouq Abdel-Rahim, former dean of the Faculty of Foundations of Religion at Al-Azhar University in Asyut, said that the ‘awrah of man, as determined by many jurists, is from the navel to the knee, and is It divides into two parts, namely the vagina and the anus, and is illuminated, which is what else.
Abdel-Rahim added, in response to the question “What is the rule for a man who prays in shorts?” … that this scene is rude to Almighty God, so how can a Muslim stand before Almighty God when praying in this way? The rule about hatred is the case with this image, but we have another dimension to the answer, which is courtesy to God.
He continued: Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Almighty God have mercy on him, says: Literature is all religion, and cover the nakedness of manners as well as ablution and ritual washing of impurity are etiquette until the servant stands before God pure, and that is why scholars prefer beautification for the sake of prayer because he is before his Lord.
The scholars also said: “God has ordained an amount that is more than covering nakedness during prayer, and is taking the adornment from the saying of the Almighty,” O children of Adam, wear your adornment in every mosque. A lot of money was used to use it at the time of prayer and say, “My Lord is most worthy of him in my prayers.”
He continued: God, glorified and exalted be He, loves to see the effect of His grace on His servant, especially if he stands between his hands in prayer, that is why it is better to stand in the most beautiful clothes and it is beautiful on the outside and on inside.
