Jawad Al-Zayat, president of the Moroccan club Raja Casablanca, revealed the evolution of the position of the team defender Badr Bannon regarding the transfer to Al-Ahly after the end of the current season.
Al-Zayat said in statements on the Moroccan screen “Oreizon”: “We have a philosophy of hope, and the club will not stand in the way of the desire of the players and will not block the way of their defect.”
As for Badr Bannon, he explained: “The player gave a lot to the club, and if there is a benefit for the player and for the club, you have to encourage the player to move, and this is the most I can say now” .
He continued: “The time will come to talk about it and announce some things, but now we cannot reveal anything.”
He concluded: “The club has a philosophy that is not going to change, which is to encourage the player to leave if there is a benefit to benefit from this income and train 10 players and promote them to the first team.”
Bannon partnered with moving to Al-Ahly, starting in the new season, to strengthen the defensive side, especially after Mahmoud Metwally’s injury to the cruciate ligament, in addition to Saad Samir’s lack of preparation due to his injury in the Achilles tendon during the current season.
Bannon is considered one of coach Jamal Salami’s most prominent cards in the Raja ranks after he helped “Al-Alamy” win the Moroccan League title for the 12th time in the history of the Green Citadel.
Bannon also has an African and Arab mission with Raja, as the Moroccan league champion prepares to face Zamalek in the African Champions League and Ismaily in the Arab League.
Raja is scheduled to face his counterpart Zamalek next Sunday in the first leg of the semifinals of the African Champions League competition, instead, the second leg will be played on the 24th of this month.
